Studio Policies

Deposits, Scheduling, and Respect for the Work.

Clear expectations help artists prepare, protect appointment time, and give every client a better experience.

Consultations First

Online tattoo booking starts with a consultation, not the actual tattoo session. Tattoo sessions are scheduled directly with the artist after the idea, placement, size, detail, timing, and quote are reviewed.

Deposit Purpose

When an artist requires a deposit, it reserves appointment time and helps cover design preparation. Deposit requirements may vary by artist, service, and project size.

Missing Documentation

For minor piercings, Elevated’s public policy states that if an appointment cannot move forward because the correct documentation is missing, the client may be charged for the appointment cost.

How to keep your appointment on track

  • Send tattoo designs, references, placement, and ideas to your artist a couple of days before your appointment.
  • Bring valid ID every time.
  • For minors, bring every required document listed on the Age Requirements page.
  • Eat before tattoo sessions and avoid alcohol or painkillers beforehand.
  • Contact the studio as early as possible if you need to change plans.

Because artist schedules, consultation needs, and service requirements can change, the studio appointment calendar and your artist’s direct instructions should be treated as the final appointment source.
